Indiana Inmates Sneak Through The Ceiling To Have Sex
Nov 20, 7:00 AM EST
BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (AP) — Three male and three female inmates at a southern Indiana jail face charges that they devised a way to sneak between cell blocks to help pass their time behind bars by having sex.
The inmates figured out how to remove metal ceiling panels in the Greene County Jail and used the passageway more than a dozen times in September and October, according to court documents.
The men - ages 44, 38 and 17 - and the women - ages 27, 26 and 21 - crawled through the ceiling after midnight, having sexual encounters and drinking homemade alcohol that was found hidden in the male cell block, a police affidavit said.
One male inmate who was not charged said the female inmates would “hang-out, play cards or have sex [...]

Scripture
Well, what to pick from Song of Songs? As nothing in particular has jumped out at me today, and as I don’t yet know what I’m going to write in the Observation or Application sections, it seems unwise to just select a verse at random - you never know where it will lead with this book of the Bible! I will go with the verse that recurs as a refrain throughout the Song, 2:7 -
Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you
by the gazelles and by the does of the field:
Do not arouse or awaken love
until it so desires.
Observation
Perhaps it is odd of the writer of the Song (I’m happy with Solomon myself, at least in part, though some Bible scholars debate it) to include this verse in a poem which celebrates the joy of sexual love so frankly. But at the same time, it makes perfect sense. Many [...]

The contest is officially over. I still urge you to go vote for me here: http://www.iwantmymancave.com/view-the-weekly-winners.aspx and vote for me on week two. It doesn’t really do anything, but it’s kind of depressing to see me with the least number of votes…
They announce the winner December 2nd. I am crossing my fingers, but I realize some other guys really stepped up to the plate with the creativity. I’m still hoping to get lucky though so I can get a room in the house for myself before I get married May 16. Because everyone knows that if its established before she gets up here, she can’t take control of it, right? Right?
Uh oh…

Who doesn’t love Herzy’s famous author friend, Maureen Johnson? I think what I like best about her books is that they are all good (am I a lit crit genius, or what?) but they don’t have really any super discernable formula feel. I picked this one up without even reading the back cover because - Maureen Johnson. I have been a little tired of YA lately, but I couldn’t resist just another bite.
I am glad I did. This book is the story of three friends (really nicely told through each perspective). Two of the three friends (all female) fall in love with each other and start dating. I think the real protagonist is the one who is the “straight one” or at least that’s the girl I identified most with. Why? THAT WAS ME!
When I was younger, I had two best friends. They always felt a little closer to each [...]

My sister has told me that I am one of the more positive upbeat people she knows. Really? Years ago I had self diagnosed myself with a mild case of depression and bipolar disorder with a slight case of ADD. Was it the result of reading too many psychology books or wanting to explain my mood swings?
It’s true, I can be positive and optimistic for other people, but when it comes to me, I can rationalize the positive and think of something on an empirical level but my emotions don’t always follow.
I look back on my life pre-husband and *ALL* of the foolish choices I made when it came to men, and there were many. I’m embarrassed that I let myself be so used, that I put myself out there in vulnerable and compromising positions, that I traded sex for emotional intimacy, that I [...]

I’m Bend Radius.
I think I’m living a boring life because I concentrated more on having a career than actually having a life.
Now here I am trying to make my life more exciting by trying to reach my maximum bend. By maximum bend, I mean the extent I am willing to go to just make my life more exciting.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not no longer a virgin but not in the context of dating
That’s what I want to do. I want to meet new people and go out on dates because I think its the best way to save myself from my routinary boring life. I want chaos.
I am ready for chaos.
In this journal you’ll find photographs I’ve taken (tons of it), narratives about prospects (both past and present), and of course dating adventures (if I’ll have any in the days to come).

My pastor always says “For every one look to yourself, take ten looks to Christ”.* I’m finally starting to learn what that means.
When I’m wrestling with self-defeating thoughts, sin, and trying to love the unlovable (people who I find challenging to love), I’m learning to follow this process of looking first to Christ as the answer. This is not easy, but as I’m slowly growing I’m finding that when I look to Christ instead of myself, the world isn’t so bleak.
As a 25-year old single woman, I find that I spend a lot of my time trying to devise ways to solve the singleness “problem”. It really isn’t a problem at all, and in fact most of the time I rather enjoy being single. However my culture has shaped me into thinking that I’m not complete until I’ve found “the one”. Thus I have embarassingly been boy-crazy, looking for decent [...]
